Triple Twist Tree Dates Lava
In 1954 scientists counted 1,300 growth rings on a 16.5" core from this gnarled limber pine. The estimated age is 1,500 years because the heart was rotted away. Allowing another 100 years for ample soil to collect for growth of the seed. This lava may have flowed in the fourth century. This patriarch died in 1961.
